A Halfmoon man is facing serious charges related to child exploitation. Michael J. DiBiase, 47, was arrested Friday morning following an investigation by the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS). According to the Saratoga County District Attorney’s office, DiBiase was charged with one count of Felon in Possession of Child Sexual Exploitation Images and an additional count of Criminal Possession of Child Sexual Exploitation Images.
The charges stem from the discovery of the illegal images during an unrelated investigation initiated by DFS. District Attorney James Fishwick praised the DFS for their work and the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office for their prompt response in apprehending DiBiase.
