Malta Drive-In is hosting a special public celebration this Sunday, May 17th, to honor Patricia “Patti” Howard, their longtime manager who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. This free event is an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate Patti’s life and her nearly two decades of service to the venue.
The evening will feature several special activities starting at 6:30 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring their pets in Patti’s honor. Concession Central will be open until 7:45 p.m., and Howard’s favorite songs will be on the drive-in playlist. At 7:45 p.m., the projection booth will be dedicated as “Patti’s Booth”.
From 8 to 8:15 p.m., a photo slideshow and eulogy will follow, and then the classic horror film “Night of the Living Dead” will be shown beginning at 8:15 p.m. Show your Bills pride by wearing team gear, and leis are encouraged. Leave a written memory for a keepsake book for her family, or email it to PattiMemoriesMDI@gmail.com. Special tribute keepsakes will be sold, with proceeds benefiting her family, and donations (cash, checks, cards) are accepted at the door to help with expenses.
