Last week, local law enforcement in Saratoga County reported several arrests. A Hogansburg resident was arrested for felony criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotics, 8 ounces or more) in the Town of Moreau.
In Malta, a Ballston Spa resident was arrested for felony bail jumping (cash bail). Meanwhile, two individuals were arrested for DWI-related offenses in Halfmoon and Clifton Park, respectively. One incident involved a Waterford resident arrested for a first-time DWI with a BAC of .08 or higher, while the other, a resident from Illinois, was arrested for first-time DWI and operating with a BAC of .08 or higher, receiving an appearance ticket.
Other arrests included a Cohoes resident charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in Clifton Park, a Corinth resident arrested for the same in Saratoga Springs, and a Rensselaer resident charged with forging documents in Clifton Park.
In Clifton Park, a Clifton Park resident was arrested for assault, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon. Another Troy resident and a Clifton Park resident were both arrested for DWI offenses, including aggravated DWI (BAC .18 or higher), all receiving appearance tickets.
