Get ready for a very special evening at the Malta Drive-In this Sunday, May 17th! The venue is honoring longtime manager and friend Patricia “Patti” Howard with a public celebration in memory of her, who worked there for more than two decades. This is a wonderful way for the community to come together and celebrate Patti’s life.
The celebration begins at 6:30 p.m. with mingling and music featuring Patti’s favorite tunes. Guests can enjoy concession treats and are encouraged to bring their furry friends along for the ride. At 7:45 p.m., the projection booth will be dedicated as “Patti’s Booth,” followed by a photo slideshow and a special tribute eulogy. The night will continue with a showing of Night of the Living Dead at 8:15 p.m.
Join in the fun by wearing your Buffalo Bills gear or bringing a lei, as these were Patti’s interests. You can also leave a written memory in the special keepsake book for her family, available in the snack bar or email your memories to PattiMemoriesMDI@gmail.com. The venue is also accepting donations to help with expenses; cash, checks, and cards are welcome, and a dedicated GoFundMe page is available online.
