A local incident involving a DWI arrest reminds us all of the importance of safe driving. On Monday night, a personal injury crash occurred on Waite Road in Clifton Park.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jacqueline A. Kawola, 57, of Ballston Lake. She faces charges including Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), moving from lane unsafely, and speeding. The charges stem from a crash where Ms. Kawola allegedly struck a utility pole, reportedly causing downed wires.
According to reports, the vehicle she was operating overturned after exiting the roadway. She was cited for all three offenses, released on appearance tickets from the Clifton Park Town Court, and transported to Albany Medical Center for evaluation.
