Local friendly community members were reminded to stay aware this past Thursday afternoon when a bank attempted robbery occurred in Saratoga Springs. Police reports detail that a man tried to rob the Bank of America located on Division Street around 5 p.m.
The individual involved, identified as Eric Headwell, a 61-year-old from Cambridge, New York, was reportedly quick in his actions. According to police, Headwell left the premises without gaining anything and crucially, without displaying any weapon during the incident.
Following the attempted robbery, authorities arrested Headwell nearby. He is currently scheduled to appear in Saratoga Springs City Court on April 28th, formally charged with the offense of attempted robbery.
