Saratoga Springs native Libby Adams is this month’s Saratoga Living Saratogian of the Month, celebrated for her vibrant personality and her role as cohost of the FLY 92.3 Morning Rush. Known for her infectious energy and relatable stories, Libby brings a unique charm to the radio waves, making the show a staple of many locals’ mornings.
Off the air, Libby is just as captivating, often dubbed the “Life of the Party.” Whether she’s dancing at a pool party with a drink balanced on her head, enjoying a craft beer at Tree House Brewing, or out with her dog Tuna, her welcoming spirit is evident. She’s also known from her days at Kings Tavern, affectionately nicknamed “Dumper” from a memorable past incident.
Though Libby didn’t start in radio, her path to co-hosting the FLY Morning Rush is an interesting one. After graduating with honors in communications and nearly pursuing a career as a flight attendant, the pandemic opened unexpected doors. An invitation from her cousin’s husband for an audition led to her current role, where she’s found her comfort zone and continues to share her authentic self on air and off.
