Local news brings word of a quick-moving incident at a Stewart’s in Saratoga Springs involving suspected shoplifting. According to reports from WRGB, law enforcement responded to an alarm at the store and apprehended a man suspected of forcibly taking cigarettes before fleeing the scene.
The suspect, identified as Craig Valcik, 45, of Cohoes, was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and grand larceny. He is currently awaiting court proceedings on these charges.
