A local incident in Moreau concluded with a man being released after an altercation involving a stabbing. On March 29th, around 2:51 p.m., New York State Police responded to a residence on Bluebird Road following reports of a stabbing.
According to the investigation, 55-year-old Clinton Breault was involved in a dispute at the location and reportedly stabbed an acquaintance in the hand. The victim, transported to Glens Falls Hospital, suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
Breault was arrested and charged with second-degree assault (a Class D felony), third-degree criminal possession of a weapon (a Class D felony), and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon (a Class A misdemeanor). Following arraignment at Moreau Town Court, he was released on his own recognizance.
