Local law enforcement responded to a residence on Bluebird Road in Moreau on March 29th following reports of a stabbing incident. Fortunately, the injured individual received medical attention at Glens Falls Hospital for a non-life-threatening hand wound.
Clinton J. Breault, 55, of Moreau was arrested by New York State Police and charged with Assault, 2nd Degree (a class “D” felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree (a class “D” felony), and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree (a class “A” misdemeanor). The investigation indicates the stabbing occurred during a dispute with the victim, whom Breault reportedly knows.
Breault was released on his own recognizance after being arraigned in Moreau Town Court. State Police remind the public that these charges are serious and underscore the importance of community vigilance and reporting any concerns to local authorities.
