The American Red Cross is stepping in to help after a school bus crash near Lake George on Sunday morning. Students and adults from the Bronx were significantly impacted by the accident.
According to reports, the bus was traveling on Diamond Point Road when it failed to stop at an intersection and went off-road, crashing into several structures and vehicles. Fortunately, all those involved suffered only non-life-threatening injuries.
The Red Cross is coordinating with local authorities to provide essential support, including food, blankets, and comfort kits with personal care items to the affected students and adults. They are also assisting the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies in their response efforts.
