Hundreds gathered at Lawrence Street Tavern in Glens Falls to show overwhelming support for firefighter Micki Guy, who remains in critical but stable condition at Albany Medical Center after her recent injury. The community came together to celebrate her life and wish her a full recovery.
People described Micki as a hometown hero, a pillar of the community, and an inspiration. Roberta Ringer called her “one of the most positive, amazing people,” while Aaron Whorf and Lt. PJ Callahan highlighted her decades of dedicated service to the Glens Falls Fire Department.
The event featured a raffle organized by friend Margo Macero, with many community donations pouring in quickly. Micki’s family expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support.
