A community member seriously injured while responding to a local fire, Glens Falls firefighter Micki Guy, is the center of a heartfelt fundraising effort this weekend. The community rallies to support Guy, who suffered serious injuries when she fell from a moving truck on April 9th while on duty.
The Lawrence Street Tavern and the Veterans of Foreign Wars are collaborating to host the fundraiser on Sunday, April 19th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. It’s a time for friends and neighbors to come together and show their support for Guy and her family during this difficult time.
