A beloved resident of Lebanon, Joan M. Umbenhauer, 91, passed away on April 2, 2026, at the Lebanon Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center. She was known for her love of organic gardening and ceramics, as well as her active role at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
Joan was married to Clarence A. “Schnacks” Umbenhauer for 68 years until his passing. She is survived by her two sons (David and Mike), daughter Susan, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a brother, and nieces and nephews. The family kindly requests donations be made to the Humane Society in her memory.
Joan’s life touched many in the community, and her passing is remembered with fondness by her family and friends in Lebanon and surrounding areas, including Saratoga County.
