It’s been quite a while since Halfmoon’s luxury rental scene saw a major change, but the curtain is rising on a new chapter for one notable building. The Kensington at Halfmoon, the popular luxury apartment complex that opened back in 2014, has just closed on a sale!
The deal marks the first time the property has changed hands since its doors opened. The building was sold by Richbell Capital to MLG Capital, a real estate private equity firm based right across the river in Wisconsin. The specifics of the transaction, aside from the broker involved, haven’t been released.
This significant sale signals a new chapter for The Kensington. While the day-to-day life for residents and the quality of service remains unchanged, this ownership transition reflects the confidence in the property’s value and its place in the Halfmoon community. It’s always interesting to see local landmarks change hands after years of steady occupancy.
Well done to all the teams involved in making this successful transaction happen. Here’s hoping The Kensington continues to be a wonderful place to live for years to come!
