Le Moyne College women’s lacrosse is heading to the NEC Championship game! In a dominating 16-6 semifinal victory over FDU, the top-seeded Dolphins secured their spot in the title game with a strong performance at Ted Grant Field.
Key player Francesca Tortora led the offense with five points, including goals and assists, helping propel the team to victory. The win marks Le Moyne’s first trip to the NEC title game in three seasons and their 16th appearance in a conference championship game overall.
They will face second-seeded Stonehill College in the championship game on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Le Moyne finished the regular season with their best win total at the Division I level in three seasons, showcasing a successful year for Head Coach Nicole Friel and the team.
