Saratoga Spark is thrilled to share the exciting news from the high school flag football field! In a decisive matchup held in Clifton Park, the Shenendehowa High School team delivered a commanding performance, blanking the Ballston Spa High School team with a 46-0 victory.
The story of the game was clearly told on Shenendehowa’s defense, which was incredibly dominant throughout. Key defensive highlights included two interception touchdowns by Peyton Fryer, showcasing crucial momentum shifts and solidifying the team’s control of the game.
On offense, the balanced passing attack proved effective, with quarterback Kendall Spickler finding success connecting with Gabby Spraker and Triniti Echols for touchdowns. Maggie Sheehan also added three scoring passes. The defense continued to shine with multiple interceptions, ensuring Ballston Spa had little scoring opportunity.
