Our community is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Robert C. Blanchet, a beloved husband, father, and Cazenovia resident who passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Clifton Park, Robert was a bright and determined individual, graduating from SUNY Brockport with a bachelor’s degree and later earning his Ed.D. from St. John Fisher College.
Robert met his wife Kimberly during college, and they built a life in Cazenovia, raising their two children, Logan and Clara, with love and dedication. He was known for his resilience, tackling life’s challenges head-on, and his infectious personality that made him the life of any gathering. A talented athlete, he was also an avid hiker, boater, and traveler, creating countless cherished memories with his family and friends.
Robert touched many lives with his enthusiasm and positive spirit. He encouraged his children to live life to the fullest and left behind a legacy of laughter and adventure. He is survived by his wife, children, parents, siblings, and extended family, as well as his furry companions. Our thoughts are with the Blanchet family during this difficult time.
