Queensbury’s Kady Duffy reached a milestone Monday night! The star player scored her 250th career goal, helping lead the Wildcats to a decisive 19-3 victory over South Glens Falls in Section 2 girls’ lacrosse action. This impressive tally makes her the program’s all-time leader in career goals, surpassing the previous mark with her 251st point later in the game.
Duffy wasn’t alone in the scoring celebration for Queensbury. Alongside her three goals and two assists, Addison Boecher chipped in with three goals and one assist to reach 100 career points. Sydney Yrsha and Callie Usher each netted three goals, while Rowan DeMarco scored two for the Panthers, who unfortunately lost the match.
While the main story was Queensbury’s big win and Duffy’s milestone, the Section 2 had other games too. In non-league play, Albany scored a 16-11 victory against Holy Names. Grace McDaniel led the scoring effort for the Falcons, while Holy Names’ Ella Schoenborn and others combined for a losing effort.
