The Skidmore College Thoroughbreds showcased their rowing skills at the recent New York State Championships, competing against top teams from across the state. Despite facing strong competition, Skidmore crews demonstrated determination and success throughout the day.
The women’s first varsity eight finished third in their heat and reached the petite final, while their second varsity eight secured a win in their third-level final after losing the previous week’s matchup. The men’s first varsity eight advanced to the grand final following a heat victory but finished fourth overall.
The day was filled with races, heats, and finals, highlighting the competitive spirit of Skidmore rowing. Congratulations to all the Thoroughbreds who raced and represented Skidmore at the championships!
