Thrilled to report the Hamilton College Continentals women’s rowing team had a strong showing at the 2026 New York State Collegiate Championships on Fish Creek! While finishing sixth overall in the varsity eight race, their performance in other events was particularly impressive.
Hamilton secured second place in their morning heat of the varsity eight and followed up with an outstanding second-place finish in the afternoon final of the second varsity eight. They also claimed the runner-up spot in the novice fours competition, demonstrating their consistent strength across the regatta.
Despite being ranked ninth nationally, the Continentals finished as the top Division III team in the varsity eight final. Keep an eye on these talented athletes as they prepare for their next competition hosted by Williams College!
