Hamilton College’s Continentals brought home the gold medal with their No. 8-ranked varsity eight at the 2026 New York State Collegiate Rowing Championships in Saratoga Springs! They captured the top spot in the men’s varsity eight category, showcasing impressive speed right from the start.
In the grand final race, Hamilton cruised to victory with a time of 6:56.730, significantly faster than their closest competitor, Vassar College. Their performance in the morning heat was strong, and the afternoon final confirmed their dominance, leaving Army in third place.
Hamilton also had a successful day with wins in the men’s second varsity eight and the men’s frosh/novice fours. They will now turn their attention to the National Invitational Rowing Championships and NESCAC Championships next.
