Hello Saratogians! We’re back with a look at some exciting baseball action from Wednesday in Section 2. The weather might have been warming up nicely, and the diamonds were certainly heating up with some impressive performances!
The big game featured the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks taking a commanding lead against the Averill Park Panthers. A standout performance came from Raul Rodriguez, who demonstrated a strong eye for the ball by walking three times.
Rodriguez’s patient approach at the plate was key as the Blue Streaks cruised to a decisive 32-2 victory over the visiting Panthers. It was a solid effort from the entire team on the mound and at the plate.
