Get ready for spring in Saratoga Springs! The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation is thrilled to announce the 2026 Historic Homes Tour, set to take place on Saturday, May 9th from 10 AM to 4 PM. This beloved annual event offers a unique opportunity to explore the stunning interiors of private historic homes across the East Side, showcasing the beautiful architectural diversity and history right here in our community.
Mark your calendars for this special day! The tour will feature several notable properties, including a recently restored Italianate home, an early Greek Revival residence on Caroline Street, and examples of beautifully adaptively reused buildings. This event wouldn’t be complete without the virtual tour, produced by Green River Pictures, LLC, which highlights three featured homes with even more historical detail. Plus, learn about the rich past of the East Side during the tour.
Beyond the home tours, the Foundation is hosting two special educational programs at the Saratoga Joinery on Caroline Street. Join us for “An Early History of Women’s Education” at 9 AM or “On This Spot: 69 Caroline Street” at 12 PM. Both programs require separate tickets. The Historic Homes Tour is the Foundation’s biggest fundraiser and crucial for supporting their mission to preserve Saratoga Springs’ heritage. Tickets for the in-person tour and virtual tour are available now – $40 for members, $50 for non-members in advance, or $55 the day of. Virtual tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Program tickets are $35.
