Get ready for an engaging discussion about tackling plastic waste this Earth Day! Saratoga Springs Public Library is hosting “EcoBricks! An Earth Day Discussion” on April 22nd from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Harry Dutcher Community Room.
EcoBricks offer a creative solution to the problem of plastic pollution. These are simple yet powerful tools: plastic bottles are densely packed with small, dry, non-recyclable plastic items. This process helps limit plastic pollution, prevent microplastics from entering our environment, and demonstrates how even small personal actions can contribute to significant change.
This initiative was born from a local student’s innovative senior project, turning a personal idea into a community resource. The discussion will explore how you can participate and learn about transforming waste into something beneficial right here in Saratoga County. No registration is needed, just come and learn!
