Big changes are underway at Saratoga County-based Nowigence (NOWG). On April 3rd, shareholders took decisive action, removing six directors and the CEO, Anoop Bhatia, from the company’s leadership team.
The board has been completely restructured, with Srivatsava Sunkara, the Executive Director and Chief Technology Officer, continuing on the board and now serving as the interim Chief Executive Officer. Two new independent directors were appointed to fill the vacancies created by the departures: Ramanjaneyulu Ganga and Chaitanya Moparthi.
This significant board overhaul was completed swiftly, effective April 3rd, without cause for the removed directors and officers. The new leadership team is now focused on guiding Nowigence through its strategic restructuring objectives from its Saratoga Springs headquarters.
