Springfield College’s men’s track and field team showed impressive form over the weekend at the Williams FIRE Meet, competing in Williamstown, Massachusetts. While the team faced some stiff competition, a few standout performances shone through. From Ballston Spa, Isaiah Hannah earned a seventh-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles, while Merrimack’s Luca Kabel secured seventh in the 200-meter dash. Andlookout for Andover’s Tyler Fabbri leading the Pride in the 400-meter dash.
The team’s relay efforts were also strong, with the 4×100-meter relay team placing ninth and the 4×400-meter relay securing ninth place too. Other notable finishes included Raymond Brunson pacing the team in the 100-meter dash. In the field events, Daniel Hyde cleared 1.86-meters for fifth in the high jump, while Christopher Clark claimed third in the javelin throw. The Springfield squad will now head to Ursinus College for the AARTFC Championships next week.
