Springfield College’s men’s track and field team recently traveled to Williamstown, Mass. to compete at the Williams FIRE Meet, showcasing strong performances from local athletes. Notable finishes included Luca Kabel (Merrimack, N.H.) taking seventh in the 200-meter dash and Isaiah Hannah (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) placing seventh in the 110-meter hurdles. Raymond Brunson (Durham, N.C.) led the Pride in the 100-meter dash, while Tyler Fabbri (Andover, Mass.) paced them in the 400-meter dash.
The team also saw solid relay finishes, with the 4×100-meter relay team securing a ninth-place finish, and the 4×400-meter relay team also placing ninth. In field events, Daniel Hyde (Monroe, Conn.) earned a fifth-place finish in the high jump, and Christopher Clark (Chicopee, Mass.) claimed third in the javelin throw. The team now heads to Ursinus College for the AARTFC Championships, aiming to secure final qualification marks for nationals.
