Shenendehowa’s girls’ lacrosse team put a strong finish on their victory over Columbia, outscoring the Blue Devils 6-1 in the fourth quarter of their 17-10 win. Brooke Ward was the standout performer for the Tigers, scoring seven goals, while Emerson Breen added five points (goal and four assists) and Aidyn Tlusty found the net three times. Ella Ryan chipped in with two goals and three assists, rounding out the scoring for Shenendehowa.
Meanwhile, in other Suburban Council action, Shaker High defeated Saratoga Springs 12-5.
For more local girls’ lacrosse updates, Johnstown won a non-league game 14-9, Scotia-Glenville won a Section I game, and there were wins for Suffern and Nyack. Boys’ lacrosse saw Glens Falls defeat Rutland decisively, while other non-league and Foothills Council games also resulted in wins for local teams like Shaker and Scotia-Glenville.
