Nancy Newbern, a well-known resident of Queensbury, NY, passed away peacefully at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital on April 11, 2026, at the age of 66. Born in 1959, Nancy’s life story was deeply rooted in the Lake George area, particularly Queensbury. She attended Lake George High School and went on to earn a degree in Liberal Arts from Adirondack Community College, graduating with honors.
Throughout her life, Nancy possessed a gentle spirit and a vibrant personality, finding immense joy in music, animals, and the beauty of nature. Her creative talents were evident in her various art forms, and she cherished the companionship of her dogs, Spot and Abby. She was an adventurous soul, who loved her home on Lake Sunnyside and experienced the beauty of Hawaii.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, son, brothers, sisters, and many cousins, aunts, and friends, including one in Keaau, Hawaii. A memorial service was held to honor her life. For those wishing to offer support, condolences can be sent to Baker Funeral Home in Queensbury.
